THE LUCKY CAT COFFEE - A COFFEE SHOP THAT FEELS LIKE A CHIC HOME AT KUNINGAN, JAKARTA

Went here once during the evening, but didn’t manage to get a seat as the place was packed and long queue ahead of us. Therefore, we decided to pick another day, this time we visited around 11 AM and luckily the seats are available. Lucky Cat Coffee is located at the south parking area of Plaza Festival, it could be easily recognized from the exterior, an appealing white brick building. Walking into the coffee shop, you can feel the warm and cool interior design, it feels like you are a chic home filled with wooden architecture, marble and lots of plants. Not to forget mentioning a towering tree that pass through out the roof as a center of attention for all that came here.

The place has 2 floors, first floor was the communal area & they also have sofa bench at the corner. While second floor provide wide view to the first floor thus you could also see the baristas preparing the orders. They also have smoking area outdoor near the window.

We ordered a cup of hot white Cappuccino & Iced Avocado Latte. For Avocado latte, they used fresh avocado instead of avocado flavoring. There are 2 option of house blend coffee beans that they used, bayanaka Tibra (Medium body, high sweetness & low acidity) profile taste more to caramel, nutty & chocolate, brown sugar after taste, origin from Sulawesi. The other one was Ayana Champa (Light body, medium sweetness & low bitterness) profile taste more to floral fragrance, fruity & creamy texture after taste, origin from Flores/Bali, they said sometimes it’s also change with other option.

Price range for coffee starts from IDR 35k and food starts around IDR 45k - 80k. Besides serving coffee & food, they also have dessert & bread showcase at the counter. We didn’t order the food because we plan to have meal at other place.

Pe­­­­­­rsonal opinion: Love the place, can sit there, drink coffee and chit chat for hours. Haven’t tried the food yet, but If we have the opportunity to come back, we will choose during brunch time.
