SALADSTOP! – A GREAT STOP FOR YOUR NUTRITIOUS MEAL

A Singapore chain healthy lifestyle restaurant, Saladstop! has now opened in Jakarta. Located on LG floor of Senayan City Mall, the restaurant has long salad bar where you could choose your own vegetables, variety of toppings, and dressings for your salad. It’s also feel satisfying to be able to see our salad's being made.

If you are not confident with making your own salad, don’t worry! They also provide their range of signature salads that you could choose, whether to be served in a bowl or in a wrap (tortilla wrap). If you choose to be in a bowl, they will serve the salad with choice of crispy side dish; bread stick/crisp tempeh/crispy cracker (for us it looks like crispy wonton skin).

During our visit, the choices goes to the Oh Crab Lah and Hail Cesar.

As its originated from Singapore, it has become our curiosity to order the famous Singapore chili crab flavor, Oh Crab Lah. Consists of romaine, crab stick, egg, vermicelli, baby tomato, onions, crouton and Singapore chili crab dressing. Unexpectedly, it tastes so freshly good. Crunchy vegetables meet with a slightly sweet dressing along with a bit of pungent from red onion. Yes, we could feel the heat from the dressing which turns out make this one of an interesting dish.

OH CRAB LAH - IDR 75.000

We all know about the famous, classic and traditional salad - Caesar Salad or they called it here Hail Cesar. Consists of romaine, chopped beef bacon, crouton, shaved parmesan, egg, classic caesar dressing (add roasted chicken +IDR 10k). For this, we choose it to be wrapped. It's wrapped with tortilla, pan grilled, and divided into 2 pieces, well as you can see from the picture below is quite huge, so definitely filling! Little sourness from the dressing, crunchy from the Romaine and croutons, salty and savory from the bacon, creamy from the egg and covered all together with wheat tortilla, just heaven! And yeah Hail Cesar!

HAIL CESAR - IDR 75.000

Other than salad they also have menu like warm quinoa bowls and super bowl that we haven’t tried. Definitely willing to try when we return.

Personal Opinion: Overall, it feels great having meals with plenty options of healthy ingredients and most importantly the taste was good too.
